My research for this brief will start with gathering information from many different sources including the following. I intend to narrow this down to one or two areas to concentrate on latter in the project.

·         Courses covered by the Alloa campus in particular.

·         The history of the area.

·         Links with industry. Traditional and historical.

·         A site visit photographs and notes for possible sites locations for work.

·         The brief state international links and I think there could be areas of interest there.

I intend to narrow this down to one or two areas to concentrate on latter in the project. As well as the previously mention artists I intend to explore the work of other artist relevant to my research and work as it progresses.
